Dr. Aruffo is a Voluntary Associate Professor of Psychiatry in the UAMS Department of Psychiatry. He was a full-time faculty member from 1990-1999. Dr. Aruffo completed his training in both Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He is Board Certified in both and has "Added Qualifications" in Addiction Psychiatry. He has received and completed grants in both AIDS and Adolescent Substance Abuse. He is now in private practice in Little Rock and works part time with Centers For Youth and Family, and as the Medical Director of the ACH adolescent substance abuse treatment program Insure The Children.
