Dr. Young is the Medical Director of the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Fitness Clinic and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She received her B.S. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and her M.D. from UAMS. She completed her residency in Pediatrics at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Prior to her current position at UAMS, Dr. Young was an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Division of General Pediatrics at the University of South Florida and an Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at UAMS. She has been certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1991.
