Max Snowden serves as Executive Director of the Arkansas Commission on Child Abuse, Rape, and Domestic Violence. The Commission provides training, technical assistance, policy development and analysis, and resource development in the areas of child maltreatment, rape/sexual assault, and domestic violence.

 

 

Prior to joining the Commission, Mr. Snowden served as State Coordinator for the University of Oklahoma’s Southwest Regional Center for Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities. A licensed social worker and certified trainer and Crisis Response Team member, Mr. Snowden received his M.P.H. from Tulane University. He has consulted with various organizations, community groups and governmental agencies both in the U.S. and internationally to address problems of alcohol and other drugs, violence and victimization, and high-risk behaviors.
