Ms. Sick is a consultant employed by Partners for Inclusive Communities. She received her M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville in 1987. She has been employed by Partners since 1994. While at Partners, she has been involved in many different projects including, assistive technology, implementing the Americans With Disabilities Act and making modification for people with disabilities, rape and sexual assault prevention, helping professionals understand their impact on families when children are diagnosed with a disability. In April 2000, she began serving as a mental health therapist at the Child Study Center primarily serving people with autism spectrum disorders who also have mental health needs.
