Dr. Ferguson is a Research Psychologist at the National Center for Toxicological Research/FDA. She received a Ph.D. in Biological Psychology in 1990 from the University of Wisconsin. Her primary research interests are evaluating current rodent models of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and using developmental exposure to various drugs or toxicants to create new animal models of ADHD. Other research interests are the behavioral effects of developmental exposure to estrogen-like compounds either found naturally in food or as environmental contaminants.
Dr. Ferguson holds adjunct faculty positions in the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) Department of Psychology and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.
