Dr. Kramer is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She is Director of Research in the Division of Pediatric Psychiatry. She is the recipient of a Mentored Patient-Oriented Research Career Development Award from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH #K23-MHO1882) titled "Quality and Outcomes of Care for Depressed Adolescents." Her outcomes research has been funded by various governmental and private organizations, and encompasses investigations into nationwide outcomes management systems and development and implementation of quality improvement and program evaluations. Prior to her work at UAMS, she served as Clinical Coordinator of Child and Adolescent Services as well as Director of Research at University Psychiatric Services in the Department of Psychiatry of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
Dr. Kramer received her B.A. in communications as well
as her M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Cincinnati.
She completed a predoctoral internship at the Medical University of South
Carolina, and postdoctoral training at Wright State University. She is licensed
as a psychologist in Arkansas.
