Dr. Raney is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics (Division of Adolescent Medicine) at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). His research and clinical interests are in the areas of anger and violence, incarcerated juvenile offenders, and adolescent eating disorders. He is currently the director of psychological services for the Adolescent Medicine Outpatient Clinic at Arkansas Children's Hospital, and he supervises all therapeutic group services offered to youth incarcerated at the Arkansas Youth Service Center.

 

Dr. Raney received his bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and his masters and Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he specialized in child and adolescent therapy.
