Dr. Reid is a specialist in developmental / behavioral pediatrics, board certified in Pediatrics, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has served as Medical Director and Co-Director of the James L. Dennis Developmental Center (DDC) at Arkansas Children's Hospital, and is medical director of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Foster Care program. Her primary clinical focus at the DDC is the diagnosis and management of children with pervasive developmental disorders. She serves as an attending physician at several developmental outreach clinics across the state each year.

Dr. Reid has been an invited speaker for undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), as well as for statewide conferences on developmental disabilities and autism. She regularly participates in medical student and resident education.
